• Regional Offices of the Arts Council England may have indexes of artists within their regions. See the Useful Links page for their contact details.
• Axis – an online directory of artists, providing details of artists work, can be found at axis.
• You may want to employ a specialist consultant who will have the research skills and knowledge of commissioning practice.

Does ixia publish a list of public art specialists and consultants?

• Not at present. However, your Arts Council England regional office should be able to advise you on the appointment of consultants. They have a web resource that can help you find consultants: artscouncil
